Resume creation in progress

Through the coordination efforts of Delta Soror, Kareen Moreland, two events were held simultaneously.  The first event was a curriculum-based workshop, for individuals in the community that wanted to either learn or increase their knowledge of Microsoft Word.  Several of the Sorors  worked independently with their adult-learner counterparts, and many came away with completed resumes!

Social Media Challenge

The second event was a social media challenge, where additional Sorors were asked to help CMG to increase its visibility on social media outlets, such as Facebook and Twitter.  Sorors engaged their friends and family members to ‘Like’ and ‘Follow’ CMG, by utilizing their own electronic devices, (e.g. smartphones, laptops, and tablets).  From the beginning of the year, up to Thursday morning, June 26th, CMG had a totoal fo 251 ‘Likes’ on the Facebook page.  As a direct result of the Delta’s involvement and engagement, CMG, saw an increase of 65% on Facebook, within 3 days!
