Computer Mentors’ open registration for student enrollment in online coding and software training. Kids, do you want to create the world you want to live in! In support of Hillsborough County Public Schools, Computer Mentors’ is currently enrolling students in high demand online programs: KidsCode and TEENtech. Students are out of school until at least April 15, 2020, and Computer Mentors wants all students to continue deep learning and skill-building in computer science by registering online at www.computermentors.org/programs-2/. If you live in Hillsborough County these online Computer Science/Information Technology courses are available to you, year-round. All courses are without cost, made possible by the funding from Children’s Board of Hillsborough County and other sponsors.
We offer the KidsCode online coding program to 4th-8th graders. Students will learn to code using Python coding language. Students’ engage on a journey of fun while slaying dragons, building their own character in a storyline, and learning to problem solve. Students will experience computer science skills that are conceptual and competitive that assist in strengthening literacy skills. To enroll; please, go to www.computermentors.org/kidscode/.
