Our 2014 Graduates
Computer Mentors’ IT Forward Training and Service-Learning (TSL) program provides training to young adults (ages 18 to 21) in industry recognized technology certifications and assists participants in earning their GED or High School Diploma. Computer Mentors is able to help participants achieve their educational goals through partnership with Gary Adult High School.
On June 6th, 2014 participants Davonte Perry, Precious Harrell (pictured on the right), and Aqui-Ale Baxter were able to walk across the stage and claim the diploma all of their hard work has earned them.
Davonte is currently employed part-time, actively participates in volunteer work, and wishes to pursue further education in Psychology so that he may become a youth counselor.
Precious is enrolled at Hillsborough Community College and plans to continue her studies into their Nursing program beginning the fall semester.
Aqui-Ale Baxter has volunteered 250 hours during her time in the Computer Mentors TSL program, earning the Gold level achievement from the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards.
