Former CMG Student, Martin Brouillard, Now Software Engineer at NantHealth
We were happy to welcome former Computer Mentors student, Martin Brouillard this week. Martin has several recent successes that he wanted to share with our current STEM Corps students.
Martin is 22 years old and is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida. He earned his Bachelor’s in Information Technology with a focus in Software Engineering. Martin is currently employed in the Healthcare field with NantHealth as a Software Engineer. NantHealth performs innovative cancer technology research. Martin also worked with Siemens Energy as an Engineering Intern during his Senior year of college.
Martin shared some valuable advice to the students, such as the importance of getting good grades, earning certifications, interning, and also how to balance work and play during college life.
Martin was a student at Computer Mentors during his high-school years. He participated in the Computer Mentors’ Tech Bowl and won 3rd place in 2010 and 1st place in 2011. Martin graduated from Freedom High School in May of 2012.
“I have greatly appreciated everything that Computer Mentors has done for me,” says Martin. “The concepts and methodologies helped me tremendously throughout my college career and now in my work place. This experience also strengthened my resume with the projects that provided me real work experience and a place to improve my skills.”
